1974 Kawasaki (Z1) 900 in Bloomington, IL
I have ridden this bike and broke the motor in correct as well as done the required checks and maintenance on it and the new engine has not been over 3000 rpm for the first 800 miles and has never been over 4000 rpm to date with 1191 miles on the motor and the bike is turn key and runs like a top! The frame was striped down to bare metal, inspected and painted with pj1 frame paint. The engine was completely dissembled and rebuilt with 2nd overbore OEM pistons and rings, new cam chain, cam chain tower and rollers.
